Romero Lecture

Fr Rodolfo Cardenal is a Central American Jesuit who is Director of the Monseñor Romero Centre at the UCA, the Jesuit University in El Salvador. He is a surviving colleague of the six Jesuit martyrs killed on that University campus in 1989 at the height of Salvador’s civil war. He is an historian and has written the biography of his Jesuit colleague, Fr Rutilio Grande, assassinated in March 1977 - and now on the road to beatification. He will be the guest of the Archbishop Romero Trust in Britain and will be hosted by me here at the Cathedral on October 31st at 7pm, when he will talk about Blessed Oscar Romero, Fr Rutilio and the call to give our lives in proclaiming the Good News.  All are welcome.
