St Petroc’s Society Christmas Carol Service at Truro Cathedral

Bishop Mark and the Bishop of St Germans, President of St Petroc’s society, attended a Christmas Carol Service at Truro Cathedral.

There were choirs from Bosvigo School and Nanstallon Community Primary School. Music from Kernow Pipes and Drums.

Clients of St Petroc’s were present, telling their stories.

St Petroc’s Society exists to provide accommodation, support, advice, training and resettlement services to single homeless people in Cornwall. Within resources available, we strive to provide the best quality of service possible. Our primary aim is to provide these services to people aged 16 - 65 years and for whom no provision is made within the community, either statutory or otherwise.

The single homeless are those who, more often than not, fall outside the responsibility of statutory authorities. Often they are sleeping rough and may have a range of difficulties including addiction, mental ill health, relationship problems or a differing lifestyle, which contribute to their homelessness and social exclusion.

The evening was a great success, which you can share by viewing our video.
